Merry Mathaniel Christmas
Nathaniel couldn’t help the loud laugh that escaped his lips, throwing his head back and covering his mouth to keep the warm spiked egg nog from spewing out. A cream colored sweater covered his chest, decorated with black snowflakes that had been picked out just last night on an exhausted gift-run. Black slacks and shoes finished it off, ironed to the crease.
Karsyn sat across from him on a leather couch, holding warm cider in both palms as she watched the blond with a soft smile. That joke always made him laugh, and she enjoyed the sound. He was working too hard for a twenty-two year old these days, putting too much pressure on himself. It was a relief to see his face crack open every once in awhile.
She’d picked out a black sweater that had Christmas lights flickering on and off, with one big red one on Rudolf’s nose. Her long brown hair came down in waves from her shoulders, highlighting how pale her features had gotten since the last time she’d been in this house.
Blyze was in the kitchen, mixing drinks with a booming laugh that made everyone turn their heads. Night stood behind him, a devilish grin across his gorgeous face while his lips moved to make another dirty joke that sent the angel into hysterics.
Music played throughout the house on the stereo system, blaring Oh Come All Ye Faithful above all the laughter.
Nathan threw back what was left of his drink and got up, his eyes immediately searching the room for his boyfriend. There was a lazy, relaxed movement to his walk. The kind that was really only present when he was around friends like this, with his phone somewhere hidden by the blackette he was so fucking in love with.
