MERROCK TURNS ONE !

Today is the one year anniversary of our soft opening! Which is so hard to believe, and also very exciting. I’m so grateful for each and every one of you who have called this place your home -- whether it be since day one, when you joined us for our full opening this spring, and those who have come and gone (and we hope you come aback again). It’s the people who make the group what it is, and I just wanted today to be all about how grateful we are to have this group.

This post is also serving as an interest check, which we haven’t done in a while! These are done every once in a blue moon in place of an activity check to also give our players the chance to make any changes that they might want to make. The duration of this interest check is August 29th through September 5th. You must like this post by 10AM EST on September 5th to keep your roles, regardless of activity. If you are 100% satisfied with all characters that you play, all you have to do is like this post.

(If you are on hiatus during this interest check, you will be exempt. However, if you happen to see the post, you’re still very encouraged to like it.)

Now, the other side of this, that might come in handy for some people! This week can also be used to make any changes that you would like to your line-up. Say that you just really aren’t feeling a face claim anymore; you can swap them out, regardless of if you have before. If the character themselves isn’t working out, you can completely trade them for someone new. If you feel overwhelmed, you can drop or pause some faces. If you want to just obliterate everything and start fresh with new faces and characters, go for it! The only thing that we ask is that you must still be following our diversity rules (and if you need help with this, we’re glad to assist).

To make any changes, simply contact us through the ask box (if you need to chat a little back and forth through messages for help or something, that’s okay! just send final changes to the ask box). You can and should still like the post, but we will mark you down, as we have heard from you.

We are so, so grateful to have made it to the one year mark for our soft opening, and can’t wait for the one year for our full opening, as well! And honestly? Every other milestone that comes our way. But most of all, we are beyond grateful for the wonderful connections and characters that have been brought our way, and cannot wait to enjoy another year with you guys. And if you’re reading this and thinking about joining... please! We’d really, really love to have you. xx
