So, the context behind Ame hitting Jersey was that NJ and NY were arguing over their border, and Ame struggled to figure out how to get them to stop. His childhood was very abusive, so he learned that the best thing was to hit the child until whatever the problem was went away.
So he hit NJ, and before he could even begin to go, "Don't fight," he's hit with this wave of loathing and "What did I just do" because that's his son, his boy looking at him in fear, and how many times did he do the same to Britain? How many times did Britain hit him as he cowered and begged for mercy? And America just collapses in on himself, apologizing and begging for forgiveness because he couldn't believe how painful doing that was, and he regrets it a lot.

"FL9 on the Santa Train"
NS 3010, the usual power for the Morristown and Erie's Toys for Tots train had suffered mechanical issues on its way back from the NYS&W Toys for Tots train which rendered it unusable for the following days train. This yielded two unique photographic opportunities, the first of which was the M&E Toys for Tots train operating with an M&E unit (as opposed to 3010) and the second was the chance to see the Maine Eastern FL9 leading the Whippany Santa trains. The FL9 did not power the train, it simply served as a cab car for the crew on the West end, but offered a very rare opportunity to see the engine leading a train in New Jersey before being sent back to Maine after the M&E repaired the locomotive. Here we see the train making its way back to Whippany as they cross the Algonquin Parkway. Hanover, NJ December 11, 2011

20 years ago .. the first time i saw a new fantasy movie in the theatre and my life start from that moment .. i never thought how my life will change forever after that day ... to all fans in the world books or films or even both we don’t know our lives become more perfect after that .. we wake and dream on middle earth ... peter created something until today haven’t like it before and i know for the next twenty years will still the same to me ... thank you tolkein for created middle earth and thanks for peter for create a real movie will never forgot ... middle earth is my land ... the shire is my home .. and i’am a hobbit from the inside
