Mercy of God
KJV Lamentations 3:22 It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. God does not owe us anything and would have been fully justified if He sent all mankind to hell to judge them for their sins. But because of His great love for us He prepared a way for us to be forgiven, and to be delivered from the power of sin. And how simply is this salvation made available. Not by wisdom or by works that man should boast about his or her mental or physical prowess. But just by believing in His Son Jesus, simple faith makes this free gift available for us all. God imputes the repentant sinner with the righteousness of His Son just because the sinner believes in Jesus. The gospel message is so simple that even a child can come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross. KJV 2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us who knew no sin that we might be the righteousness of God in him. O how great is the mercy of God towards us that not only has he given us salvation and forgiveness but also eternal life and the presence of the Holy Spirit. The blood of Jesus washes away all sin, the Holy Spirit guides us in all truth and keeps us in the love of God. The saved person,s body becomes the temple of the Holy Spirit this enables him to be in constant fellowship with God. We also have fellowship with God in eternity. If you do not know the mercy of God, confess your sins and believe in Jesus the Son of God. He died to redeem you from the power of sin and death. He is risen again to live forever, and is seated at the right hand of God!
