#mercaricommunity question....I have been selling collectables/ breakables for many,many years. I worked at antique stores for many,many years. I have been PACKAGING and SHIPPING breakables for many years. I have NEVER had something show up NOT the way it left my hands.I now have my first return request for something I know was NOT broken( I took pics of my WHOLE procedure because YES, I Am that paranoid of scammers & liars) I am pretty (99.9999%sure) that it will all fall on me. Broken pony ear & all .I asked for photos of the actual ear,( WHERE IS IT- IF NOT IN THE BOX??!!!- IT LEFT HERE WITH BOTH EARS!!!) I'm wondering .. did it truly break in transit?( Then I eat it - right?) Or did it break when unwrapping- maybe a drop while unpacking & now a return? I just cannot understand..and it's SO disappointing,as this was a good collectable. Never been thru this before- I ship breakables all the time.I truly thought I OVERdid it on the packing. I left a question with Mercari...I truly hope it's not like eBay and I start getting defects for something totally out of my hands( literally)!?! Updated case! So the package was updated right before it will be delivered on Saturday morning. And the buyer got the item right on time as she requested on Saturday. But I woke up and see a return request? What on earth. She got the package the day she wants the package to arrive and the return requested doesn't let me know what's the reason she wants a return.
