Qualities of Merfolk on Land & Their Decendents:

*The obvious pull to large bodies of water like lakes, rivers and the ocean.

*Listens to recordings of the sounds of the ocean/water when away.

*Loves long baths and showers.

*Uses lots of lotion, chapstick & conditioner when on land to stay moisturized (Reef-Safe).

*Always thirsty/drinks a lot of water.

*Ethically collects beach shells, rocks & sand.

*Under water motifs everywhere!

*Watches a lot of marine/sealife nature documentaries.

*Studies Marine Biology/Ecology, Environmentalism or similar major & interests.

*Passionate about preserving aquatic environments!

*Might be vegetarian/vegan/against the consumption of fish, or might be pescetarian & sometimes have the sudden impulse to eat aquarium fish.

*Loves music and/or singing & humming.

*Excellent non-verbal communication (can't speak underwater).

Mermay 2021 Babies

The baby betta’s haven’t shown their colours yet! Well, except for Ari. After all, their tails match the second tone to their that none have grown into yet. Ari just happened to be born with hers already.
