RADIOAPPLE EDITION

Alastor found a shiny new play thing but he’s very… different than Vincent which irritated the fuck out of him. Sure Vincent had his own personality but at the end of the day he was worshipping the ground he walked on. Not only was this toy the opposite of that, having the audacity to not even know who he is, but it’s broken. Dirty. Ingenuine. Someone already broke it. He was playing with it out of pure spite. He had no real interest in it but anything entertaining was better than this bored and enraging cycle he’s been in since Vincent’s been gone (and since he’s been off the air). The differences between them weren’t all bad though.

He became… accustomed to the banter the 2 did. Knowing what made him tick, his daughter and wife genuinely got a reaction he least expected from the “King” of Hell. It was a different kind of entertainment than it was with Vincent. Vox’s was genuine, pure, something you can only hope to find in a dump that was hell. But Lucifer’s was just pure unapologetic egoistic rage. Getting a rise out of someone who obviously didn’t respect him made the entire thing more interesting. He relished in the thought of how their next would play out, how everything was becoming more of a game. It was a bandage over the Vincent shaped hole that made his skin crawl.

Lucifer hated whoever the fuck this red headed deer thought he was. He made it a point to not mingle with the likes of them. Knowing that he was banished, scarred simply for having the audacity to speak his mind all for strangers he didn’t even know… he regrets it everyday. Every time he looks at their faces, they seem to mesh together. They all look the same. Wicked smiles, deceiving attitudes, and downright disgusting. The thought that they even breathed the same air had his skin crawling. But this guy.. was a cut above the rest. His face was slowly becoming fixed. He could actually see his features, recognized his voice, powers, demeanor. It was disgusting.

But… he couldn’t deny that this helped him with his slump. He’d been in one since Lilith’s disappearance and the clasp in relationship with his daughter that he was just now beginning to get back. It gave him a reason to actually come around, a motivation outside of his first love (his daughter). One he thought he’d lost so many years ago. Because outside of Charlie, he had nothing to take pride in. Everything was so fake.. he didn’t even know much about himself outside of her. It was pathetic. And the few things that he did enjoy he was shamed for.. so he tried to keep it more to himself.

This was something genuine though. Genuine loathing. A true emotion. And even though he hated this bastard for even having the gal to try and replace him in his daughter’s life. He couldn’t deny the tingle of happiness seeing the… sinner brought him. To get a feel for something, anything that wasn’t the numbing feeling outside of the love for his daughter. Something that was his and his alone. But outside of that feeling, neither of them had any genuine care for the other. It was all for selfish personal reasons.

HEAD CANON TIME! (Banter and Mental Problems)

• Even though Alastor won’t admit it, Lucifer’s boundless energy often helps him with his need to be overstimulated.

• Alastor has noticed that at times it causes Lucifer physical pain to fly. Especially if the weather is particularly hot. That is his favorite weather to do a chase (much to the blonde’s dismay)(He has PTSD).

• Lucifer is fascinated how someone so evil can have such fluffy ears. It was downright diabolical.

• Lucifer and Alastor both have very small appetites. Lucifer because of an ED while Alastor has always been that way. Lucifer actuallt finds comfort in the fact that someone besides him can’t always finish a meal. So sometimes he’ll subconsciously keep pace with alastor so it doesn’t look so weird when he’s full at only half of his portion.

• Lucifer loves making movie references he knows al won’t understand. uncultured swine.

• They both have a habit of humming and they will catch themselves humming the other’s song on more than one occasion. It causes instant irritation.

• Alastor prefers very hard liquor. Things that will make your throat burn as it goes down. Lucifer prefers more sugar to alcohol ratio unless he’s having a particularly hard mental health day.

• Sometimes they don’t even mean to piss each other off but still end up doing it. Lucifer’s disorganized way of living always triggers alastor’s OCD causing his smile to become strained. Alastor’s constant need to be overstimulated (playing the radio loudly while doing too many tasks at once) also causes lucifer to become overstimulated but unlike al he hates it dearly.

• Lucifer picked up on alastor’s trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) and has made mental notes when he has to know what gets the deer to tick.

• They are no longer allowed to be in the kitchen at the same time. The smell of Lucifer’s sweets makes his stomach turn so he purposely messes with the recipe causing lucifer to get irritated. Needless to say that the fight was left them both with a need to do laundry.

• Once Lucifer learned of alastor’s hatred of sweets he started leaving freshly baked goods outside his door so the smell would irritate the red head.

• They have vastly different hobbies/habits. The only one they are is reading however lu prefers audiobooks that he can follow along to. Alastor can not stand when other people read to him.

• Lucifer has a horrible habit of fidgiting whenever he gets anxious or is really nervous. His appetite is nonexistent when hes in that state. Alastor is the opposite- he eats more.

• They once had a dance competition that last 4. Fucking. Hours. Lucifer found out about alastor’s love of dancing and challanged him to outdance him. The only reason they stopped was because vaggie ordered them both to stop as it had gone on for far too long. They both took a short nap that day (much to their irritation).

• Lucifer doesn’t always have the motivation to bathe or brush his teeth leading to unnecessary teasing (much to his embarrassment).

• Lucifer is really into all kinds of art. Especially painting. He only figured that out because of a jab alastor made about his doodling abilities and he wanted to probe him wrong.

• Because niether of them likes to sleep they often run into each other while the rest of the hotel is sleeping. They normally just side eye each other and tend to their own things
