I know I just posted but I just I made another poem I wrote about something that happened to me in the beginning of my freshman year uhm... I don't talk about it alot but I figured what the hell. Here you go.
This poem is called "You said you understand" Written and authorized by Brianna Faye.
One boy who did a horrible thing and i'm not afraid to say his name, John white. This poem is about you.
Warnings β οΈ Sexual harassment, SA, Uncomfortable praising, And mental health. Don't read if you are triggered.
Sitting in class thoughts rushing through my head. Fighting back tears, my hand locked with my girlfriend's, her eyes full of concern. His hand rests on my inner thigh, his head lays on my outer shoulder. Flashbacks, horrible nights. Praise whispered in my ear, stuck in place, to scared if I make the wrong move I'll get hurt. Confessions later destroyed me. "I understand you have a girlfriend" he said, you understand? Those words shocked me deeply. The praises he left lingers in my head for hours to come. "Good girl" he whispers. "Mine" he once whispers again. Tears later rush down my cheeks. My girlfriend's warm embrace holding me tightly. I'm finally safe now, yet I can still feel his hands on me. Only a year above me, sexual harassment, sexual assault. Nightmares still take over. I got my justice, justice has been served to me.
Authors not--- Hii, it's Brianna Faye here. This poem is something that actually happened to me. I got my justice when John white got put in handcuffs and carried away. I still remember this night it hurts I still have nightmares. But my girlfriend was there to help me. If ur reading this, thank you, baby. I love you so much and I am so grateful to have you.
