to the men who is tired and
broken, to the ones who hide
some words unspoken – you
are free to express, and that
won't make your masculinity
sacrificed their dreams just
for the sake of their family,
to the men who went through
all that alone – i bow my head
in respect for you being so brave,
and i will – even if you say about
all the happiness you drained.
you stood strong and you should,
but you could talk about difficulties
and that won't take down your
manhood. you carry a burden of
pain untold, just for the society to
believe you are so bold – but you
don't always have to. you can
mourn about your losses, you can
cry to make your heart a little
lighter, you can scream for your
soul to be a better fighter, you can
weep for your problems, and you
can still fight to overcome.
no it won't make you a girl,
for the tears have no gender.
what bothers you need not to
be hidden, what gives you pain
need not to be unuttered – for
you too have emotions. to the
men who work hard day and night,
to the one who want to touch the
heights – you are brave, you are
strong and you will be even if
you prefer to let out all the
pain by letting your tears flow.
