I am a woman. I believe that I deserve everything that men have, but I also believe that men deserve everything we have. There are careers out there where men are favored but there are also careers where women are favored. I don’t think it’s fair to assume that all women are weak but it’s also not fair to assume that all men are strong. Some women prefer to work with heavy machinery and some men prefer to work with fragile little babies. Your gender shouldn’t determine who you are and what you can become. Gender isn’t a definition of self, it’s an innate characteristic. I am a woman because that is how God has made me. That doesn’t change my ability to fight the big fights, and being a man doesn’t change your ability to fight the small fights. It’s not the innate characteristic of gender that determines who and what you can become; it’s the heart you have inside and what it is drawn to. I am not a feminist because men are just as often over looked for being a man as we are for being women.

Totally totally wrecked me. They literally just stalked the hashtag on Twitter and called me all these awful names. I know it shouldn't have effected me but it really made me upset. Mindless hate for someone you don't even know is crazy and awful and shouldn't happen ever at all.
