Recently, this art piece was unveiled to this pretty lady to commemorate her kitty, Bella. This has been an incredibly special portrait and it truly means the world to me to create artwork that will be cherished for many years to come. R.I.P Grandma Honey/Helena Stockwell: To those in my Extended Family Tree who’re Instagrammers or Tumblr users should already at least know what’s happened to my maternal grandmother, and to those who happen to be my followers who don’t know what’s happened to my maternal grandmother, especially to those who’ve probably just discovered my Instagram Posts Gallery or Tumblr Blog and are new to coming across my art on Instagram or Tumblr, I believe should know what just happened. According to what my mom had just told me last morning, Grandma Honey had passed away at 5am or 7am on Tuesday April 23rd 2024, my Mom and Siblings and I visited Grandma Honey one last time, we cried, we mourned, and today the rest of my Extended Family Tree and I who were closest to Grandma Honey are now currently grieving, some of us are pulling ourselves together, and some of us are still processing her passing, and as for me: I’m currently doing both, which is why I made this memorial portrait for Grandma Honey, so I hope my family, friends, and followers like this as I hope my late grandma in the afterlife likes what I’ve made for her too of course.

Trying a new technique with this commission of Gambit, a memorial portrait of a beautiful cat. Before, I would work solely in a small area until it was finished - this time, I blocked out where all his lovely markings were, to help give an overall impression of his fur and to make sure proportions remain correct. It was very zen blocking them out, I must say.
