I stared at the mess that I had made while baking. Dear Father of Posslins was it bad.

As I grumbled and got to cleaning the mess, I spied at the corner of my eye, some pandan cake that I had made a while ago, and haven't finished eating yet. Tears welled up in my eyes. I had missed the earthy taste so much, and was so caught up in taking care of the greenhouse, and working nonstop that I had completely forgotten about the old times

Pensive, I stretched out my hand, took out a slice, and found myself holding another foodie instead. This time, I let the waterworks flow, as the memories of baking together with my friends when we were so young and naive came crashing back.

We were still in the kitchen then, making our first batch of cake. We stole some pandan leaves from the neighbours, got the extract, and gathered the ingredients. The end product? A burned mess with batter stuck to the floor, walls, and somehow the ceiling. We never took it seriously and giggled hysterically, wiping bits of batter onto each other's faces and only worrying about how to hide the evidence

Still sobbing, I hugged the foodie close to my chest as I kneeled down. I kept crying. I knew that I had taken my colourful childhood for granted, and now that that horizon had permanently set behind me, I knew I could never truly go back. I wanted more than ever, to bottle up a small piece of that timeliness and hold it close, so that I would never forget. But, it was like glass, fragile, and very susceptible to damage

As I kept kneeling and crying, I managed to choke out a single word. "M...Melaka..."

The foodie looks up at you, it was a lil bigger than the average Foodie,it’s fluff reminds you of a poodle! It seams to take the word as a name and nuzzles into you. It’s ears don’t seem to have a different color. This type of dessert foodie is for comfort. Congrats, Melaka is your comfort Foodie.
