#mega scizor

So, tbh, ex cards in this style aren't exactly my favorite, so I thought I'd try to think about why this is so and how I could make one that I would like better... From here, I got inspired by @maniacalchimera's pyrographed Dratini (https://maniacalchimera.tumblr.com/post/797235732239548416/my-submission-for-poketcg-arts-kanto-redraw) and thought I would make my mega-Scizor with this technique, but also make it in the style of el famoso ancient Mew.

But then what happened is that I actually made 2 of them... One "raw" and the "real" one on a piece of wood that was way more expensive than what I actually needed ToT And now I'm not sure which one is my favorite. But I kept refering to the "real" one as "the king's mega-Scizor" because I got into this narrative that they were ancient cards from when there was no printer and they got made by hand and the kings and stuff hade the monopole on some Pokémon and all that. So this card belonged to a king guys yes yes.

This is the real one before the paint. The wood has some kinda red scratches.

They're fatter than actual cards, especially the raw one, which I find very satisfying. They're also taller.

btw I did not do that Grubbin I just found him like that and now I keep him around
