. code blue - cardiac or respiratory arrest,
specialized response and immediate resuscitation required.
. code green - evacuation of the facility or
urgent ceasarean section.
. code orange - a large scale mass casualty/external disaster event.
. code pink - infant/child abduction.
. code brown - a dangerous substance or a
chemotherapy drug spilled inside a building or
external emergency.
. code white - an aggresive or violent person.
. code yellow - internal and external disasters
or in certain jurisdiction, code yellow means
missing or eloped patient.
. code black - bomb threat.
. code silver - an active shooter or a person
with a weapon.
