The beginning of something GREAT!
I need to talk about what iām going through. Iām antsy, fidgety and constantly attached to this Medela breastpump! It controls my life more than my 3 month old child does. I ask myself everyday,Ā āWhat for? Why do I do this to myself?ā Is it because I want to nourish my son with the liquid gold we call breastmilk? Or is it simply because itās cheaper than buying cases of formula? Or maybe itās the fact that all of the women iām close to in my life have breastfed their children and it seems like the right thing to do? Can I be honest with my audience? Itās a little of everything. I want to be real with all of you. I donāt want to sugar coat the entire experience for all of you, like it was sugar coated for me! I want to give you the good, the bad and the ugly. You might not like what you read, or even agree with me, but I donāt care. This is MY blog and I will tellĀ it like I want to tell it. This blog is for me, and for those that want to laugh, cry and fall apart...with me. The main focus of the blog will be talking about my pumping experience, truthfully and honestly. This blog will talk about my birthing experience, my postpartum experience, my breastfeeding issues and mostly about exclusively pumping mom things! So please share with your friends, your loved ones and strangers and enjoy!
Back home. I had a c section, gave birth to a baby boy. OMG seriously, felt soo much more comfortable and had a better sleep once I got home. Due to circumstances had to start pumping immediately using breast pump (though I am planning on breastfeeding mainly), am so glad I decided on a Spectra. It's way more comfortable and gentler on my breasts than the Medela pump in the hospital :0
Baby is doing fine and is so cute! The very first thing they commented on was his huge eyelashes. He has so much silky hair on his head as well. <3
