Collection of various doodles in vastly varying quality from the dnd campaigns I’m in (one I DM and one I’m a player in)

1st Row: Prim (Aasimar Cleric, Life Domain) her design got tweaked going from PC to NPC once I took the DM reigns.  She is a student of a college on a field trip to a magical lost and recently found kingdom. She’s a little underdesigned for an Aasimar but that’s fine for an NPC IMO.

Professor Ghazet is an Orc Wizard who is one of the expedition leads into the magical kingdom, his familiar is Mr. Mongoose, the snake.  Him and the other faculty went missing overnight and is one of the first plot threads of the campaign.

Bacon Boiz is a bit of an injoke, the barbarian has a wolf companion and none of the PCs can resist giving him treats at every turn. 8)

2nd Row: The residents of Fountsprig, the bunny-sheep and a gist of the clothing of the goblins that inhabit it.  Elder Baba has a staff, the tiny one is a child and the other goblin is Maple who helps Baba manage Fountsprig.

Gilden is a Drow Shopkeeper NPC, apparently everyone wants to marry him. Rozé is his giant crab who carries his wares and sleeping(?) quarters.

Pretty much everyone is a tinker and you’ll see little tinker toys almost everywhere.

There’s a wizarding school devoted to constructs and it doubles as a Golem factory

All the artificers use their mechanical servants for a robot fight club (basically the plot of Real Steel)

You can get quite a few rare magic items here, and if you have loads of Ore you can sell it here for top dollar. It’s basically a hub for magic items.

Maybe if you win enough favor with the leadership you can call upon an army of constructs. Artificers next to their mechanical servants next to golems and shield guardians charging into battle. (Beneath the city are tons of golems the leaders have amassed over the years, essentially the Golden Army from Hell Boy 2).

Maybe you’ll assist a genius Artificer create a NEW construct, ones that can think on their own (aka you assist in the creation of War Forged. Maybe you’ll have an Age of Ultron like campaign against said war forged).

If you have a keep or a castle perhaps you can commission some golems for security, or be awarded them for assisting them in a quest they assign you.
