also on the topic of e33 is that. i love sciel and lune with my whole heart but i really wish there just. wasn't romance in this game i would much rather explore the friendship that verso has with these women and the bonds they have with each other. it just feels shoehorned in to me, especially amidst the other themes of the game and i think i would have liked it better if it just wasn't an option to begin with

#meaghan talks #meaghan plays e33 #this isn't coming from a place of like 'oh verso should not be fucking these women when he knows the truth of the situation and they don't'#bc i genuinely do not care about that in fact i think his lying and withholding information from them makes for a more interesting #relationship between them whether platonic or romantic #i think the relationship between verso and sciel is fantastic in terms of their understanding that the other would sacrifice them in a #second if it meant saving the person they love (getting aline out of the canvas and bringing pierre back)#that dynamic adds so many layers to their physical relationship that i really really enjoy and that i would probably love #if it was any other game exploring any other themes #but honestly i just think some games don't need romance options. truly i do. it wouldn't be significantly better without them #since it's still a fantastic game that i'm incapable of being normal about #but i do think the romance takes away from it just a little bit and that makes me sad #clair obscur spoilers #e33 spoilers

every day i wish cla*r obsc*r was as good as i wish it was. i want to be able to play it again for the first time knowing nothing because the second you get a glimpse behind the curtain you can't stop seeing it until everything good about it is pared away leaving only the festering core. i just want it to be as good as the version of it is in my head

had to call out of work today after calling out friday as well and wow i feel like a terrible person
