another thing i didn't really touch up on is to make your own base sheet to reuse assets you make ^_^ basically just a sheet of arms, bodies and whatever else you make, it'll save you time when making lots of gifs (especially gifs that are the same movement but just different characters) you can also find free to use assets/sprite sheets places in case that's something more your speed something for the animation part of things is i like to look at other gifs, usually i just go on tenor and look up "[topic] anime" and see what there is doesn't really matter what anime or anything, it's mostly to study how the frames work and ways to translate that into a small sprite there's also many animation tutorials out there on how to make short gifs and use less frames while still looking good that'll do you a lot more justice than this post i think lol happy animating / sprite making

on the topic of sprites if your requests are open do you think you could make a sprite of dave drawing on a tablet!!! its totally cool if not
