Here are a few of my thoughts about our duo:
Lando’s self criticism isn’t petulant and defeated—it’s aching, full of intent, and a desire to deliver. He understands his mistakes and shoulders responsibility, all while continuing to show up with openness and honesty. It’s grit and resilience. A championship mentality.
Oscar’s natural stoicism does not lack passion and intensity. It shows a relentless pursuit of excellence under pressure and a quiet confidence that is never rooted in arrogance. He bounces back quickly, not because he’s cold, but because he’s passionate. A championship mentality.
They are different. Complementary. A championship won by either one of them will look differently. I stand by them both. I believe in them both.
how do i remove myself from this toxic side of f1 twitter where norris fans are talking shit about oscar and vice versa?
like i love them both i don’t wanna see this shit😭😭
🗣: what are you doing for neck day?
lando: um it's like a 50 shades of grey harness. Some people love it, some people hate it.
HELLOOO YOU KNOW DAMN WELL WHAT 50 SHADES OF GREY HARNESS IS WOW WOW

LANDO YOU CAN BE WORLD CHAMPION I SAID PLEASE LANDO 🙏🙏🙏
Oh she’s looking good af everybody clap
The Winner Takes It All - drawing by me!
Photo from the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, 7th Dec 2025 (not sure who took the photo but it is an amazing shot)
In this piece, I chose to sharpen the focus onto Oscar Piastri in the foreground, blurring out Lando Norris in his MCL39 in background, in order to highlight the viewer's focus onto the driver who came 3rd in the Championship. Yet this focus is not in order to emphasise his failures, rather to allow viewers to empathise with someone who was so close to achieving their dream and experience their heartache with them.
I'm not a great artist, or a frequent drawer, but I do occasionally like to do some pencil drawings. When I saw this picture of Oscar, head down and helmet on, while Lando does donuts in the background after the 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, I knew that I wanted to draw this, but with a focus on Oscar rather than Lando because it's such a poignant moment here for Oscar. Yes, obviously Lando just won the WDC in this moment and the photographer wanted to capture this shot but the heartbreak in this moment where Oscar is simply in the background of a bigger and greater moment just makes me love this image and what it represents even more.
