saw MC Chris last night!

last time I saw him was almost 10 years ago. there was a really annoying girl right up front who kept responding personally to every bit of crowd work he was doing. he eventually got annoyed and said he wasn't gonna continue the show until she got away from the stage. then he pointed at me and said "you look cute, you come up here instead" to which I DID and then he asked me what song I wanted to hear next. and my dumb shit ex husband always called my favorite song of his by the wrong name. and he was in my ear going "007!!" so i shouted that

and MC goes "double o -- THATS NOT THE NAME OF THE SONG!!!" to which I said OH FUCK!! and then he moved on from me and did not play it. devastating.

well last night he was only doing requests. the entire set list, every song hed pick someone and ask what song they wanted to hear. it made for a fun interactive show.

during one of these times I threw my hands up in the air quickly and forcefully enough that my boyfriend beside me stumbled and then straight up fell into a speaker by the stage and knocked over a big sign

which obviously got a lot of attention. and MC was asking if he's okay. and then said "this guy must have really wanted a song. you got a request buddy?"

to which boyfriend said "no, but she does!"

and I shouted "006!!!!!"

MC went "ah, fuck, ok here we go"

and 10 years later I finally got that fucker to perform my favorite song, and got a ton of props from the fans around me for that choice
