Number 2: They function like a filter.

What goes in negative comes out positive, and what goes in positive comes out negative. It's energy for him, and that either "cleanses" or "dirties" a feeling. (Therefore, I personally consider it a neutral version of the Dreamtale siblings.) Interestingly, when he inhales negativity it hurts, but positivity doesn't hurt.

Number 3: It's possible to cut the lung out.

It grows back, painlessly. It's like a tree with "little stumps" of seedlings

Number 4: He needs to drink a can of his "special drink".

Nothing out of the ordinary, it's ethanol plus neutral feelings (positive + negative) that equate to gasoline and alcohol; in fact, he drinks gasoline. If he stops, he dies or it leaves him with some after-effects. He can go 1 week without taking it.

Number 5: He's a little magnet for feelings.

As illustrated, if he stays near Dream (or Nightmare, which is a bit difficult), when he moves away from him he retains a small amount of the temporary aura on his body and in specific areas. It's like a puppy smelling another puppy on its owner.

Number 6: When he's in the transition process, he starts releasing steam from his mouth, like a machine; hot steam. He can do that afterwards too, like a puff of air. Interestingly, it's a smoke without smell, but if you blow it on someone, that person may or may not experience negative or positive feelings.

Number 7: If he stops drinking the liquid, a consequence is that the spot on his chest will increase in size; it's located above his soul. It's not rotten, and it's just a very strong theory that he might die. Apart from that, he prefers not to know what might happen if he stops taking it.
