So I told 2 people at the legion post I was transgender. Today, I can tell everyone knows. I used to come in and get all sorts of free drinks. People would get me free drinks, for my service they would say, but there was a whole lot of interest coming from guys. It weirded me out how interested some of the guys would get. So I told a few people about me being trans and sure enough, no more unbridled interest from the guys. Its what I expected to happen. Its a little bit of fresh air to not having people buying so many drinks for me.
