My vampire yearning is spiked the fuck up like a toddler who decided to make a drinkable potion of pop rocks and mountain dew at midnight.
I'm nightdreaming (too late to be a daydream) while playing my vampire romance playlist, creating visions for some story that came to me in a first person dream where I fell in love with a vampire.
I'm having a whole fucking scene come in my head listening to Ghost's cover of Crucified. Sad and beautiful at the same time.
And the dream I had, I saw him very clearly. He remains the same, though battered and feral barely holding his thoughts together. Naked, a large hole in the wall allowing the full moon light to shine on him as he hovers above the ground against his will, his wrists and ankles bound to a large cross...
And then? Before The Dawn by Evanescence plays.
And when his love finds him, he fears for her. Fears himself. And she removes her dress, baring herself to him, her neck, her blood, knowing it could very well mean her end. And he begs her, "Please, my dearest one. Go. Leave me." And she presses her own naked body to his, warm and trusting, and he hasn't the power to restrain himself from sinking his fangs into her neck...
With his strength anew, he pulls himself from his restraints, holding her close in an embrace that speaks of both passion and hunger...
But it's too much. Her heart begins to beat too slow, her blood rushing not fast enough, her skin growing colder, colder, colder...
And he stops himself, horror washing away relief. And he acts, without thinking, biting deep into his wrist and presses it against her lips...
Her skin is porcelain white in the pale moon light. Horrifyingly pale...
He sets her upon an old empty coffin, the moonlight sticking to her like a soul mate. And all he can do now, was wait...
Fuck me, I'm poetic. This is the shit I come up with when I just close my eyes to music.
No one fucking steal this, I have this whole story in my head and I want this in it.
My yearning is going to be the death of me.
