Gmw will always be a special thing in my heart and I will never not love it, it does upset me that people are making fun of it, but some of the things they say make sense.

The Lucaya ship will forever be a problem in my head. That was not a healthy relationship at all, if anything they were more like brother & sister, not Lucas and Riley. Maya forever made fun of Lucas for whatever he said, and Lucas knew he chose Riley well before the ski lodge, he just didn’t want to upset Maya. Riley & Lucas were a healthy example of a high school sweetheart relationship, nothing too serious but you can tell they like each other. Too scared to show their feelings but they show them anyway, you can see it in their eyes.

The show is great. I will never not agree with that. Please keep any negative views on this topic as it really really does effect me.

Another thing I have noticed is that everyone is picking up things they don’t like about Riley’s character. It makes me scared to be me around people, I’m like Riley so much, it’s scary! But I find myself taking it seriously because they’re all basically making fun of things that make up my personality.

I’m sorry for making this about me, but it needed to be said. I’m sorry if you find Riley annoying, or any of the characters, I’m sorry if you don’t like the show, but please don’t bring the actors down or blame them for something they had no control over.

Let’s not forget that shows are common special interests/hyperfixations, this can be incredibly heartbreaking for people who centre a lot of their lives around these things. People cannot choose their special interests, can you imagine being attacked for something you cannot live without?
