I don’t care what the hell you think of the military but going out of your way to harass veterans with PTSD who have explicitly asked you and other neighbours not to set off fireworks is not ‘sticking it to the military’ or whatever. That is a disabled person and you’re hurting them.
And that’s just one of the stupidest of the horrendous excuses I hear to set off your awful explosives.
This coming Monday is May Two-Four and I do NOT have it in my to sit through nearby (illegal) recreational fireworks. If you want fireworks, go watch professional ones. If you want explosives, go hunt geese outside the city or something. Don’t freak out everyone with trauma, sensory issues, or dogs in a 5 km radius and start wildfires (the reason they’re illegal here) left and right. This fire season is already a big question mark without your absolute stupidity.
