Maximo said that in Mugello 2022, after he crashed in race 2 of the RBRC, he was crying and Marc came to him and told him "don't worry, you learn more when you crash than when you win, this is something normal".
And when asked about whether or not it's a goal of his to be able to ride in MotoGP with Marc (and Alex), he said that Marc once told him, joking : "I'm gonna wait [for] you, you have to go fast but I'm gonna wait [for] you".

Let’s train with mama
*ahem*
Something very intriguing about the fact that marc seems to disengage from any of the young riders who come close to MotoGP. I.e, he clearly gets on with Diogo and Fermin, yet seemed to pull away from Fermin following his rookie year, and although perhaps not yet with Diogo, he definitely isn't as close as we see others being with younger riders who may be considered their training partners. In fact, I would say similar about David Alonso, it feels that since coming into Moto2 and with his rise to MotoGP Marc has pulled away a little, even though they train together.
Max is really the one riders Marc seems to "mom" about, giving him advice and being with him a lot. I feel thats probably because he's so young and still in Moto3. Likely that Marc knows he will retire by the time Max reaches MotoGP., if not just after.
In this essay I will evaluate why Marc is not repeating that patterns of Vale, probably in avoidance of what happened to his and Vale's relationship :)
