tags: surprise angst at the end! >:) i dont consider this story canon! because i'd like to think you and clark knew each back when you were even younger, and got together in highschool!
The graduation ceremony ended under a flood of sunlight and applause, the smell of spring grass and excitement heavy in the air. Youâd worn the same wide, practiced, smile all day, and it almost hid the ache twisting in your chest.
Everyone was talking about the future. New beginnings, new cities, new chances. You just kept glancing at Clark.
Clark Kent, your best friend since you were ten. The boy who used to walk you home carrying both your backpacks because âyou looked tired.â The boy who always showed up with an umbrella when it rained, even when you hadnât told him you forgot yours. The boy who never realized that every time he smiled at you, it felt like the whole world tilted a little bit brighter.
Youâd promised yourself that after graduation, youâd tell him. Just once. Whether it changed everything or nothing at all, heâd know.
And now, standing under your favorite oak tree, the one that had seen every secret, every laughter, every summer spent doing nothing but being together, you almost couldnât breathe.
Clark was already there, leaning against the trunk, his cap tossed aside, tie loose, a smile on his face that made your knees feel weak. The sunlight hit his dark hair just right, turning it gold at the edges.
âYou made it,â he said, his voice warm and soft, like it always was when it was just you two.
âWouldnât miss it,â you said, trying to sound normal, even though your heart was hammering so hard you could barely hear your own voice.
For a moment, the silence between you was comfortable and familiar. You could hear the faint laughter of your classmates in the distance, the rustle of leaves above, and the quiet rhythm of Clarkâs steady breathing beside you.
Then he said it.
âI got into Metropolis University.â
You froze. The words that made your whole world tilt.
He smiled, looking proud and excited. âIâm⌠moving there next month. I wanted to tell you first.â
The air suddenly felt too thin. Metropolis. It wasnât far, not really. But far enough. Far enough that you wouldnât see him every day. Far enough that the tree, the fields, and the small-town sunsets wouldnât mean the same without him there.
You forced a smile, but your voice came out small. âThatâs amazing, Clark. Really.â
He studied you, brows furrowing slightly, as if he could sense the storm you were hiding behind your grin. âHey,â he said softly, âyou okay?â
You wanted to tell him no. That it hurt. That you were happy for him but terrified of what would happen to you once he left. That youâd been planning to tell him how you felt before everything changed.
But then something flickered at the edge of your vision.
Over by the forest line, just past the tall grass and the wildflowers, you saw her.
A little girl. Maybe three, maybe four. She was standing in a patch of sunlight, watching you. Dark hair that glinted like Clarkâs when the light hit it. Big, curious blue eyes that mirrored his perfectly. She looked so real that you blinked in disbelief.
She tilted her head and smiled a small, sweet smile that tugged at something deep in your heart.
And then she was gone.
You blinked again, breath caught in your throat. It was impossible. You didnât believe in things like that. But for a heartbeat, you swore she was real.
Clarkâs voice brought you back. âHey, you sure youâre okay?â
You turned to him. The sunlight was caught in his eyes. The same blue youâd just seen reflected in that little girlâs.
Suddenly, it hit you. That glimpse wasnât something to be afraid of. It wasnât a trick of the light or your imagination. It was⌠a sign. A whisper from something bigger. A glimpse of what could be, of what would be, if you didnât walk away.
You inhaled slowly, steadying yourself. âClark?â
He straightened, sensing something different in your tone. âYeah?â
You looked at him, your voice trembling but sure. âI need to tell you something.â
He smiled a little, teasing. âYou sound serious.â
âI am.â You took a breath, fingers clutching the hem of your gown. âI love you.â
Clarkâs smile softened. âI love you too. Youâre my best friend, you know that.â
You shook your head, your heart pounding so hard it hurt. âNo, Clark. I mean...I love you. Not just as my best friend. Iâm in love with you.â
For a long, endless moment, he didnât say anything. His eyes widened a little, searching yours, as if to make sure he heard right. The air between you felt charged, like the world itself was holding its breath.
Then, out of the corner of your eye, you saw her again. That same little girl.
She was closer this time, standing between two trees, waving. Her giggle floated faintly through the breeze, pure and warm. And for a moment, your fear melted away.
Because somehow, you knew. That this confession, this moment would lead to her. To a life, to love, to something beautiful you couldnât yet understand.
When you looked back, Clark was staring at you. The surprise in his eyes was matched only by something else, something warm and wide and full of awe.
His lips parted, like heâd forgotten how to breathe. His voice, when it came, was almost a whisper. âYou⌠you love me?â
You nodded, heart hammering. âI do.â
For a moment, he just stood there, eyes searching yours, chest rising and falling like he was trying to catch up to the moment. Then a small, disbelieving smile began to bloom on his face. Soft, stunned, and full of light.
And in that look, you saw your future again. You saw the tree, years from now, a picnic blanket beneath it. You saw laughter, warmth, a little girlâs giggle echoing through the air. A baby boy.
This was the start of everything.
-
(I see her face in the forest, then it disappears)
The bad ending
Clark leaned against the rough bark, gown loosened around his shoulders, that familiar crooked smile on his lips. He looked at you like he always did, and it made your chest ache in a way you couldnât quite name aloud.
Youâd spent years by his side doing homework together, sharing lunch, late-night talks about dreams and fears. And now, you were supposed to tell him. You had promised yourself that tonight, youâd finally say the words that had been buried in your heart for so long.
âI got in,â he said suddenly, breaking the quiet. His voice was full of a nervous kind of excitement. âMetropolis University. Journalism program. Itâs⌠really happening.â
You looked at him and felt your heart twist. You should have been happy for him. You were happy for him. But beneath the pride was something else. The creeping fear of being left behind.
âThatâs amazing, Clark,â you managed softly. âYou deserve it.â
He smiled at you, and for a heartbeat, it felt like the world had narrowed to just the two of you. But then you saw the way the light caught his face, the way his eyes gleamed with possibility. And you knew you couldnât tell him. Not now. Not when his whole life was waiting for him out there.
You swallowed, forcing a small smile as your chest burned. âSo⌠when are you leaving?â
âNext week,â he said. âMa and Pa are helping me pack tomorrow.â
You nodded, your throat tight. Next week. So soon.
Clark turned toward you, that soft concern crossing his face the way it always did when he noticed something was wrong. âHey. You okay?â
You wanted to tell him yes. You wanted to tell him no. You wanted to tell him everything.
Instead, you forced another smile â the kind youâd learned to wear when your heart was too full for words. âIâm fine. Just⌠gonna miss you, thatâs all.â
He smiled gently. âIâll visit. Promise.â
You nodded, and the two of you fell into a quiet that was both comfortable and unbearable.
You looked at him one last time, trying to memorize everything. The dimples that appeared when he smiled. The soft way his eyes crinkled. The warmth he carried just by being near.
And then, before you could break apart entirely, you stood.
âGoodbye, Clark,â you whispered.
He frowned slightly, like he didnât understand why the word sounded so final. âYou mean âsee you soon,â right?â
You hesitated, then smiled faintly, eyes glistening. âYeah. See you soon.â
You turned and walked away before he could see the tears threatening to fall.
The breeze tugged at your gown, carrying the faint scent of rain, and as you reached the hilltop and looked back, you almost expected him to call after you. But he didnât.
Clark was still standing under the tree, watching you go.
And then, as the last light faded and you disappeared down the path, something in the air shifted.
From the corner of his eye, Clark caught movement. Small, soft, and strange by the treeline just beyond him. He turned, frowning slightly.
There, between the shadows and the glow of fireflies, stood a little girl.
She couldnât have been older than four, with dark hair that curled slightly at the ends and blue eyes that mirrored his own. She wore a pale sundress and a solemn expression that didnât belong on someone so young.
She was looking right at him.
For a moment, Clarkâs breath caught. âHey,â he called softly, instinctively stepping forward. âAre you lost?â
But she didnât move.
She just lifted her tiny hand and waved. Slow, sad, almost mournful.
And then she was gone.
The air went still, heavy again, like the world had stopped to grieve something unnamed. Clark blinked, trying to steady his breath. He looked toward where she had been, but there was nothing. Just the whisper of leaves and the lingering echo of your voice saying goodbye.
Something inside him ached, deep and unfamiliar. He didnât know why, but he felt like heâd missed something important. Like the girl had been saying goodbye not just for herself⌠but for the future heâd just let slip away.
He glanced down the path where youâd gone, his chest tight. For the first time that evening, his heart whispered what his mind couldnât yet understand.
That somehow, without even realizing it, heâd just lost something he was never meant to let go of.
He saw her face in the forest. Then, she disappeared.

A/N: Really been loving these soft, kind, caring versions of Clark that we've been getting lately. Here's one with MAWS!Clark.
Clark was home a bit before you and spent the day flying all over the place so he thought he'd take a shower before you come home. But he was so absorbed in singing in the shower, the song blasting from the speaker sitting safely on the countertop on the other side of the bathroom, that he didn't hear you come in.
As you peaked into the bathroom you were greeted with the sight of his broad, naked back and his hands soaping up his dark hair. He still hadn't noticed you. Well you could work with that. You got undressed as quietly as possible.
"Room for one more?" Clark jumped, floated upwards at the sudden sound of your voice behind him.
Quickly he tried covering himself up but there was really no need, you'd seen him naked many times. Then he looked away from you, his face and neck pink. "Oh... hi! I didn't hear you get home! H... How long have you been standing there?"
"Long enough to know my boyfriend has an amazing singing voice. Imagine if you ever joined a band, how many fans I'd have to keep away from you." The shower wasn't exactly small, it could fit the both you comfortably but you were always pressed up against each other despite that. You closed the doors of the shower, the glass already fogging up from the warm water and steam.
"I wanted to shower before you got back, that way we'd have more time for... mmh... babe..." Clark came down again when he felt your hands ghosting across his hips, "I'm ticklish, you know that. I..."
Nope, you interrupted him again, silencing him with a deep, sweet kiss. Clark's hands curled around your hips, then up your back, stopping just under your ribs. "You were saying?" You smiled against his lips, entirely too smug about the fact that you had the power to make one of the most powerful men in the universe speechless.
You were high on this power and Clark never wanted to take it away from you.
"I was gonna say... that we don't have that much warm water left. Do you want me to help you wash up? And then we could take this to the bedroom. Seems like that would be, you know, safer."
"Safer for me you mean. You could crash through the wall and you'd be fine." Clark shrugged the comment off, it was true so he wasn't gonna argue against it. He always thought of your safety first. "I'm okay with that, but this time you have to keep your hands to yourself, cause last time it was your fault we got sidetracked." It was also his fault that you ended up spending all the warm water, but he was also determined to warm you up.
For a man who could bend metal like it was nothing he was nothing if not gentle as he ran his hands across your body. He didn't linger if he didn't have to, but he also didn't exactly avoid any sensitive places. All those groans turned whimpers made it very difficult for him to actually focus on the task at hand. Yet Clark was a man who always tried his best to keep his word, and he wouldn't let himself get distracted this time.
"All clean. Except for a few places but..." Clark lifted you up effortlessly, one holding you, the other opening the foggy door, "I was thinking we could use our mouths to clean more sensitive places."
âł Pairing : MAWS Clark Kent x Rapper!Reader (You)
âł Rating :Â M (18+)
âł Summary : Clark knows Kryptonians don't experience sexual attraction in the same way humans do. One night, he figures out who exactly turns him on.
âł W.C :Â ~1.2k
âł Tags + Warnings : logicalnerd!clark, clark is a late bloomer kinda, kryptonian biology is weird i guess, allusions to asexuality, sexual awakening(?), pwp, masturbation, fantasizing, onlyfans lol, mentions of leaked sextape
Part 2
Masturbation was healthy; that much Clark had already known from sex ed classes and Google searches. And though he knew from his research that most pubescent kids started jerking off in middle school, along with having erections, he had never in his 30 years of life experienced sexual attraction. Ever.
When kids in high school drooled over naked women posing on the covers of Playboys or Maxims, he still tried his best to act the part of "horny teenager". He had crushes in his teen years too, but he never actively sought out sex.
There was this one time when a girl he liked had tried to initiate sex, but he was honest to a fault and truthfully told her that he didnât like her in that way. Needless to say, sheâd gotten offended and never spoke to him again. Since then, heâd hidden that quirk about himself from every single one of his romantic partners without fail.
Donât get him wrong, Clark has had sex before and from what he could tell, he was pretty good at it too. Just like with his studies, as long he understood the proper mechanics of the subject at hand, he could go above and beyond for any performance.Â
It was basic biology. Having an erection required a higher flow of blood towards his penis; which he could do himself pretty easily since he had amazing control over his body. That was the result of learning how to be Superman for the past few years. Because of his âtrainingâ he lasted long and the (very) few men and women he chose to bed loved him more for it.Â
There were still some things he thought heâd never understand the concept of, however. Like, how do Kryptonians procreate if he canât seem to produce the semen to ejaculate? The white liquid heâd seen in porn as a teen was like a myth to him. Jor-El never mentioned that in the Fortress of Solitude. He wouldn't be finding any Kryptonian biological literature available to read at any Metropolis public library either. It wasnât like he didnât try, but after some (controlled) tests, he concluded that perhaps Kryptonians didnât ejaculate and he was okay with that.
So when Clark felt a strange sensation in his pants one night when he saw you on TV, he immediately thought that heâd fallen ill. Which was strange for him because, well, heâd never gotten sick. But there you were, mesmerizing him as clips flashed on screen of you rapping while wearing a risquĂŠ outfit leaving nothing to the imagination. Suddenly everything felt too tight, too hot. He gulped, nervously pulling at the collar of his t-shirt, but a knot remained lodged in his throat.
The camera angles panned across your chocolatey skin and ample curves, cutting right at moments where it veered dangerously into porn instead of what it was supposed to beâa rap music video. Clark had seen porn before and full-on bare naked women anyway, but heâd never been affected like this before. So why now? And why you?
Once the music video ended, Clark snapped out of his trance, but it wasnât long before the now rock-hard and throbbing situation in his pants urgently reminded him of more pressing matters.
He quickly powered on his computer to search your name and, not long after, pictures of you filled the screen. There was a never-ending stream of shots of you on the red carpet, you on stage, photoshoots, and pictures youâd uploaded yourself on social media.
Every time his eyes would linger on a photo of you in a suggestive position, i.e. licking a popsicle or pushing your breasts together, his cock would twitch against his zipper. It didnât take a genius to figure out where his cock wanted to be right now and it was right at the back of your throat. He unbuckled his pants, letting his first-ever unassisted erection bob up and against his sweater-clad stomach.
Heâd never fantasized about someone having his cock in their mouth until tonight. Sure, his partners had given him blowjobs before, but he couldnât even pretend to enjoy them. Truthfully, it looked like it hurt when they couldnât even take all of him in, and he never liked to be the reason anyone felt pain. Clark scrolled on.
You had a sex tape? His brow furrowed in disapproval though he could feel his face grow warm. He couldnât pinpoint what exact emotion he was feeling right now. Whatever it was, it definitely wasnât a positive one.
The page he had landed on showed a closeup of you, eyebrows knitted in ecstasy as someone (he didnât want to know who) hovered behind, hands gripping your ass, already in the middle of ravishing you. The screenshot made the corners of his mouth tug down in a frown. He didnât particularly like the idea of watching other people have sex at all. And he especially didnât want to see some other guy âballs deepâ inside you instead of him.Â
More importantly, it just wasnât right. Heâd seen reports that your tape had been leaked without your consent; by watching it he would be actively infringing on your sexual boundaries. That definitely wasnât right either and though he desperately wanted to, he didnât have the heart to press play.Â
Onlyfans? Clark's eyebrows quirked up in curiosity. He clicked on a link heâd found on your Instagram page and there you were; verified with pages of content ready to be unlocked. After a moment of thought, he concluded that this was the most ethical alternative; much better than masturbating to your pictures or your sex tape. This way you would be paid for your work, and he would gain implied consent as a customer. He felt much better about this as he clicked the blue purchase button.Â
His cock throbbed again when he finally saw you, full lips planting soft kisses onto a dildo, your large almond eyes heavy-lidded and boring into him with lust. Thatâs when Clark brought a hand to his cock and began to stroke. What was once a motion that was alien to him, felt more and more natural as he pumped, matching his strokes to your pace. Your image on screen bobbed your mouth up and down making lewd slurps and moans, purposefully throating the shaft to the hilt. Each brief moment you came up for air brought a mess of saliva with you.Â
Clark watched on, immersed, bucking his hips into his fist as he imagined he was the one making you make those vulgar sounds. But something in the back of his mind was disturbed. Was this what he, Clark Kent, liked or was it an innate biological desire he couldnât control from a planet he never knew? He felt disconnected; outside his body until, not even a minute after he had started the video, a sensation heâd never felt before came over him. He groaned and tightened his grip as he felt himself release.
A warm sticky liquid had dripped down his cock and onto his hand. Clark grimaced down at the mess heâd made, breathing erratically until he finally calmed down. His cock twitched and the last of dregs of his cum spilled out from his reddened tip.Â
He'd made two major discoveries that night:
1. Kryptonians did ejaculate after all, and 2. When it came to you, he wouldnât be able to last very long.

Dating My Adventures With Superman's Clark! (Headcannons)
Gender neutral headcannons to keep us alive and thriving will I write up a much longer fic.
Clark's most prominent love language is acts of service.
If he's out early saving the city, he'll text you a good morning with an update about his whereabouts. If not, he's your ride to work, and loves taking you above the clouds to watch the sunrise on the way.
He always get your coffee/tea and breakfast from your favorite cafe. Flies into your apartment and drops it off on the nightstand as quiet as possible so not to disturb you. On the days he's not busy fighting crime he likes to make you breakfast to wake up to, although its rare.
He also takes it upon himself to have a note in his phone or list in his apartment with all of your food orders and favorite things.
While he's out casually patrolling he has a habit of taking photos of things that remind him of you.
Dates are rare for you two, and you've mutually agreed there's no hard feelings on that. It's the little things like sharing a meal together or even just working on articles together that he tries to prioritize, and sometimes he'll fly you both over to his parent's home for dinner just to get out of the city.
Cuddling? He's an expert.
The best big spoon you have ever met. Clark loves pulling you in close to his chest and rests his head in the crook of your neck. When you're facing him, he always has a habit of memorizing your facial features, running a hand through your hair and making sure you're warm.
Out flying late at night or early in the morning when it's cold? Clark always wraps his cape around you, or gives you his jacket. His arms are just as good though, and his first priority is your comfort. He's always worried about squeezing you too hard, but sometimes he can't help it. Especially after big events or fights, holding onto you is a must.
At the beginning of your relationship Clark was incredibly cautious about physical touch. He would ask to kiss you, visibly tense when thinking of touching you, and was shy as all get out. The thought of making you uncomfortable or hurting you lingered far too much for his own good until you two talked it out, and soon enough holding hands transitioned into hugs from behind and soft kisses on your neck.
He's a big fan of forehead kisses too. Just hugged? Forehead kiss. Dropped off breakfast for you while you're still asleep? Forehead kiss. About to go save the city? Forehead kiss.
The best protective teddy bear.
Clark is incredibly understanding, however, he feels it's his duty to take care of you as your boyfriend, and will ensure you eat, sleep, and are both physically and mentally well at all times.
Even if you don't think he's listening, he pays attention, and takes note of your habits to ensure you're not backtracking or hurting yourself.
As someone who has been rejected by the world for his differences he is incredibly supportive of yours and wants to help you in anyway he can, whether that's helping you be organized, reminding you of things, calming you done, etc.
a/n : I NEED HIM SO BAD IM GONNA COMBUST INTO FLAMES AND DIE IMMMAGOFUCKINGRABID
flufftober masterlist
c/w : she/her pronouns, sicky reader, set kinda with season one in mind, after lois and jimmy figure out heâs superman, I need him.
______
a sneeze escaped her lips, groaning as she grabber a tissue from the table infront of her.
her brain felt like it was going to explode out of her head, her eyes watering with every blink, the whole shebang of being sick.
she was just fine yesterday, a sneeze or two here and there but nothing this extreme. she chalked it up to allergies, gaslighting herself that it would go away by the next day.
well look how that went.
tank top strap hanging off her shoulder, blanket half covering her body, she pulled her phone from the charger and brought up the group chat she was in with her work friends.
me : âsorry guys, calling in sick today :( just got hit with the worst cold ever.â
as quickly as it was sent, all three people have read it, loisâs icon popping up as she began typing.
lois : âoh no! I hope you get better âšď¸â
jimmyâs message followed after hers.
jimmy : âdw, weâll catch you up on everything you miss until you get better âźď¸â
she coughed a bit and smiled, typing out her response.
me : âthank youuu <333 Iâll be back to normal in no time hopefully đâ
the groupchat goes quiet for a moment, throning off her phone and closing her eyes to try and get ease the headache.
a ding rang from her phone at the same time someone knocked on the door. she groaned grabbing her phone and seeing a recent message from lois.
lois : âbtw, clarks on his way đ he got worried for you.â
that message snapped her out of her fatigue for a moment, another knock coming from her door.
she heard the familiar voice call out her name, âI-uhâŚI saw your text, I just wanted to drop by and see if you were okay.â
hearing his voice made her throw the covers off herself, quickly getting up (and having to pause from the dizzy feeling of getting up to fast) and staring at herself in a nearby mirror to look presentable.
she wonât ask how he got here so quickly, she was already aware of the super speedâŚ.and well everything else.
âAh! Iâm-â she coughed a bit at her hoarse voice, fixing her tanktop strap and quickly fixing her hair, âIâm-Iâm coming-!â she spoke, quickly making her living room more presentable as she stumbled to the door, unlocking it and catching her breath as she stared at the man.
âclark-! what-whatâŚâ she paused for a moment to catch her breath, clearing her throat as she continued, âyou-you didnât have to come here for me.â she cringed at her voice internally, leaning on the door a bit to support her shaky legs.
clark had a look of concern on his face, moving his glasses up a bit, âwell, I wanted to make sure you were okay, and itâs a good thing I did,â he paused before looking over her, âyouâŚ.lookâŚâ he let his voice trail off before he could say more.
a soft scoff left her lips, âlike a complete mess?â she finished, closing her eyes and resting her forehead on the door.
she heard him give a short laugh, ânow I wouldnât say thatâŚbutttt you do look incredible fatigued right now.â she felt his hand gently move her from the door, pushing her forward a bit as he rested both hands on her shoulders.
âcome on, letâs go lay you down.â his calm voice was soothing to here, letting him guide her to her couch and sitting her down.
she let out a soft sigh, rubbing her face, âyou should go back to work, youâll get sick.â she mumbled, laying down on her side.
clark shrugged, watching her with a little smile, âitâs alright, I can afford to catch a little sickness.â
she turned a bit to look at him, a little pout on her lips, âbut superman canât afford it.â she spoke, making his eyes soften and kneel down to her to brush some hair away from her face.
âIâll be fine, besides, I donât think I can get knocked down from a cold anyway.â he gently spoke, running his fingers across her cheek, âall that matters to me right now is you getting better.â
her eyes fluttered with his touch, leaning in as she felt his hand move to his forehead to check her temperature.
âhmmmâŚ.fevers pretty highâŚ.â he moved his hand away, hearing the crinkle of a plastic and looking at the bag he had brought in. she didnât even notice it when he walked in.
he rummaged through the contents, ânow I got some medicine, I had to ask lois and jimmy which one would be goodâŚâ he mumbled, âoh and I got some ingredients to make soup! my mom taught me how to make this once, itâs always helped me to cheer up when I was younger-â
as she listened to clark ramble on and on about his childhood, she felt a tired smile make its way on her lips. she loved his voice, it could make her feel so much better on her hardest days.
mid ramble, she brought her hand to her mouth and kissed it, raising it up to press it against his cheek. clark stopped, his face exploding with heat as a shaky smile went across his face, his hand going to place it on top of hers.
she cleared her throat, âI canât wait to get better so I can kiss you properly.â she said, making clark give a soft laugh and kiss her palm.
âI canât wait either.â he whispered, moving to stand up and brought her hand down to her, âtry and rest up, Iâll prepare some food for you.â he spoke, rubbing her shoulder once more before walking to the kitchen with the bag in his hand.
she moved to state dreamily at the ceiling, yawing into her fist as she blinked her eyes close.
A/N: Felt like writing for clark lately, I'm down horrifically for this man. This can be for any incarnation of Superman but I based it off the comics and my adventures with superman
It all started with a random encounter at the library while he was researching an old historical site in Metropolis(aka busy work for the new guy). He saw you with a couple of books in your hand, eyes browsing the shelves.Â
He worked up the nerve to start a conversation with you and actually managed to get your number. He left the library with butterflies in his stomach and an angry call from Perry asking his whereabouts.Â
A good starter date for him was obviously coffee. He spends hours deciding where to meet up with you, trying to find reasonably priced coffee with a good atmosphere. He tries to come up with a bunch of different outfit combinations, making the attempt to look nice but not too dressed up. This proved difficult since his wardrobe is 90% dress shirts and slacks, heâs still gotta look casual. Clark is such an overthinker, he just wants things to go well ; v;Â
Of course the date goes well cause heâs so perfectly himself and he charms you so naturally. Heâs surprised when you ask to see him again, the whole time he was sweating bullets praying you didnât notice. After that the second, third, and fourth date all are perfect. Well not perfect but the time spent together makes up for the hiccups.Â
Now letâs get into the nitty-gritty: early days of dating Clark still tries to be perfect, he hasnât become totally comfortable with you, yet ;)Â I think for him he wants to wow his partner in the early stages, he feels like trying to get a city slicker like you he has to bring his A-game.Â
When he sees you he tries to bring you little trinkets and flowers, he likes to spoil you every now and again.Â
Touching! He likes to be touching you when youâre near, a hand on your waist, brushing his pinky against your hand, pressing his knee next to yours when youâre sitting together. His love language is acts of service, words of affirmation and physical touch. He loves doing things for the people close to him. This includes: Taking out your trash, watering your plants, making your bed, putting a pot of coffee on in the morning, and fixing any holes in your clothes.Â
Now when you're really in it with him he tells you about the Superman stuff, he feels like he can trust you but thereâs still the risk of you knowing thatâll get you hurt.
