chris is a very easygoing guy. he doesn’t like conflict, and he does everything he can to avoid fighting. he’s definitely more of a “walk away, cool off, then talk about it” kind of man unless it’s something that genuinely matters.
but when it comes to someone he cares about? that’s probably one of the few times you’ll see him act out of character
he’s really respected around town and a lot of people know him, so honestly… all it’d take is one look or a quiet “ya good?” and whoever’s bothering her is probably backing off immediately
and if not, say they don’t know of chris, he’s getting right in the person's face, but he’s not screaming or like puffing his chest out, but he has that calm, intimidating energy where you just know you should probably fuck off. and he’d check on her a million times after
