Had spent Christmas Eve of 2016 at the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam, where I had been inspired by his life and how much I related to him and his mental illness personally. Plus I had started painting at around the same age as him. And that led to the idea that I needed to race that bozo. Van Gogh made ~900 paintings in his 10 year career that ended when he was 37. The race is to beat him in total paintings in less time, and then hopefully to beat his high score for days being alive.
