currently watching: dept. q, new show that I just started, very cool so far

craving: every time someone asks me what I'm craving I instantly start yearning for the old spaghetti factory's toasted cheese ravioli... toasted cheese ravioli I'll never forget you....

coffee or tea: coffee <333 I like the option of infinite customisation, prefer the flavour, and love the vibes. tea for me isn't a source of caffeine (except for what comes in my v8 energy drinks), but rather a "calm down" drink, and I usually only drink things like chamomile or throat soother blends. all that being said, english breakfast is still my favourite kind of tea lmao

how many fics did you write this year?

not including wips, 14

how many words did you write this year?

for the total, the best I can estimate is around 228k, with 203k posted on ao3!

did you try anything new this year? (new fandom? new pairing? new language?)

hell yes, getting into the jjk fandom was a huge new endeavour and it's been carrying me through the entire year. all of the fics I posted this year have been jjk. while I wasn't new to writing inuokko this year, I'm glad I got the chance to explore them more thoroughly, along with itafushi and other ships.

did you participate in any fests/events during the year?

yes! I wrote a fic for every day of itafushi week 2025, which you can find gathered here, and just posted my fic for the itafushi gift swap (same blog), here!

which is the funniest fic you have written this year?

my inuokko college au crack oneshot, let's go to mcdonald's. I think it's funny, though I was also pretty delirious from the sleep-deprived events that inspired it while writing. it's definitely my most chaotic fic for sure.

which is the angstiest fic you have written this year?

bright white on both sides. as a whole, for one, but looking at it closer, I don't think anything else I wrote this year can top megumi finding yuuji's body set to the extended version of sufjan stevens' fourth of july.

which is the steamiest fic you have written this year?

keep me hardly breathing. enough said!

which is your most valuable writing lesson learned this year?

I think this year really taught me how to focus more on one fic at a time. while I did still jump around projects a little and came up with a surplus of wip ideas, I really took a lot of care to finish one fic before I moved onto the next so that I was only actively working on one at a time (minus my in-progress longfics), which is pretty unusual for me and I'm proud I've improved my level of dedication!

what do you look forward to writing next year?

I'm hoping to step back and focus on some original work for a while, but I will be continuing snow's wake and honey of your blood, as well as some work for other fandoms eheheh.... returning to my haikyuu roots is on the horizon for sure
