I've been listening to this song for 23 years now and it's still one of the greatest songs I've ever heard. Every single part of it hits like a train, but I'm especially in awe of Ryan Martinie's bass playing.
One odd little fact about this track & the album it came from: while it's now considered a Nu Metal classic, at the time when it dropped we called it Math Metal because it was doing things with time signatures nobody else was doing. Dillinger Escape Plan also fell under the Math Metal genre, but it eventually fell out of disuse because there weren't too many bands doing stuff like that and the bands got relabeled into genres more people knew.
this means something
