RAW EDGE: MATERIAL INSPIRATIONĀ
On our visit to the doc shop, we were all inspired by their raw edge range of boot and the honesty this has to the material. They pride themselves son being a green brand that respect their materials and process, this raw edge pink boot highlights this idea of embracing the identity of what they are working with (much like their demographic in the 60ā²s, not fussing over who bought the bought , but designing for an unintentional cultural movement).Ā
FIXTURES AND FITTING: we are designing for a textile INTERIOR and it was therefore important that we looked at how they choose to furnish their shop. Rusty lamps and vintage leather suitcases showcase the long lasting ideals of the brand. We need to consider what materials we use in our designs. Maybe it stat we choose to epicycle/reuse old leathers or design a print that is versatile and could be transferred onto vintage , forgotten items. They use pieces from their history to present their current designs. INSPIREDĀ
