the day all of my friends left me was the day i went to see the hypmic movie. there were 4 people in the theater, one of them being my mom who was just there for the ride. we agreed to vote matenro all the way through since luckily they were the favorite of everyone.
the whole experience helped to ground me when i felt terrible, but what really stuck out to me was matenro's round 2 song, bless you. i so badly want to find the music video in full online because it was exactly what i needed in that moment. the visual of everything going from loneliness and greys to colorful togetherness reminded me that things will eventually get better again, even if they are bad for a long time.
this song is so special to me, and it always makes me cry, but i don't know how to express the proper emotion to people without the visuals.
if anyone knows where i can find it (and preferably screen record it to keep it) PLEASE let me know. i need to see this mv again.
even i can admit that some hypmic songs are. painful to listen to. and yet i still listen to it anyway knowing it is lowkey a bit asscheeks *cough* the champion matenro *cough* *coughing harder* stick to my mic *cough cough*. and i say that as a BIGGGG matenro fan but i grew to love the champion as buns as it is ππππ
i was gonna post about how since hypmic has the weirdest merch they might as well make division themed rose toys but i'd feel so bad squirting the matenro wolf in the face everytime i use it
