Who wants a slice of Matcha + Lime tart with dark chocolate + almond crust? ππ½ββοΈπΏ Made by @deliciously.earthy ππ The matcha filling is creamy from the coconut milk with a zingy lime twist, and completely made with healthy + plant-based ingredients! π±ππΌ Here's the recipe π½ Ingredients π« For the base π« 1 cup almonds 1/2 cup pitted dates 1 tbs coconut oil 1 bar salted almond dark chocolate 2 tsp cacao powder π« Whizz the base ingredients up in your blender until its fine + crumbly π« Press the mixture into your tart casing so it's compacted in + set in the freezer while you make your filling π For the filling π 2.5 cups full fat coconut milk 1/2 cup lime juice 1/2 cup maple syrup 1 tbs cornflour 1.5 tsp agar / vegan gelatine 3 tsp matcha powder π« mix together all the ingredients, apart from the coconut milk so powders are dissolved + heat on low-med heat in your pan π« as the mixture starts to boil + thicken up, add in the coconut milk + stir until combined π« let thicken up on low heat whilst stiring, for 2 mins π« leave the mixture to cool to room temp (transfer to a fresh big bowl, it will be quicker!) It will take approx an hour to thicken- stir it π« Once at room temp, pour the mixture over the base + leave to set in the fridge π« Top + decorate, and cut yourself a slice!
