He props himself up with his forearm, eyes bleary and dazed when they meet yours, "Uhmm? Hmm?"
"We forgot to wash the dishes so Klee took them away and the Knights of Favonius confiscated them all."
He looks at you like he's just received terrible news, his eyebrows drawn and his mouth agape.
Who knew he was so expressive when disoriented by sleep? (He can't fight his face muscles)
"Even my favorite mug?"
Deep inhales (name), don't let this ruin your prank.
"Even your favorite mug," you nod solemnly.
He pouts so deeply that you wished so bad you had a kamera with you. It's a once in a lifetime memento!
"Don't worry though, I negotiated with the knights so we'll get them back at the cost of selling Dawn Winery!" You can't help but pinch his cheeks, wondering if he can be just as cute while wide awake.
He sighs in relief before nuzzling back into his pillows, "That's nice, thank you darling."
Aaand he's asleep again.
The next morning he's adamantly washing your plates, stating that he had a weird dream about dishes.
Cyno
"Babe? Cynooo?"
Your lover splutters awake, eyes darting back and forth the room as if searching for a threat.
He finally meets your eyes, "What's wrong?"
"Don't be too surprised, but the eggs we bought from the market hatched, so you're a dad now."
His gaze falls to the blankets covering you two. He looks so serious as if truly mulling over your ridiculous question.
You had a feeling he was onto your little prank when─
"I was pregnant..?"
Oh dear, the look on his face is so akin to someone high on anesthesia it almost makes you wanna crumple on the spot.
"Co─pfft! Congratulations, my love!" You say in between wheezes.
"We need'a organize a baby shower," his eyes begin to droop again, "and a gender reveal party..."
"Cyno? You still with me?"
Nope, he's out cold in dreamland filled with chickens and parties.
Kaveh
(Bold of you to assume he's asleep in the first place)
But around this time, he starts to get delirious, so might as well take advantage of it as revenge for making you stay up so late with him.
"Kaveh," you ask with a voice as serious as you can muster, "I stole mora from the Fatui to fund your latest project."
"...babe," he looks at you with the most devastated face and you almost blow your cover.
"I'm serious," you frown, but it's just you trying so hard not to laugh.
"The wha─you stole? From the Fatui? I'm sorry??"
"Kaveh!" You cross your arms in feign distress, "I stole mora from the Fatui and they found out so we gotta hide in Gandharva Ville as hermits forever."
He genuinely looked so shocked over the future you made up and you almost felt bad.
"Aww man, that's...that's ok sweetheart, I'll miss Sumeru City and the Palace of Alcazarzaray, but I'll live with you in hiding forever, I promise."
You could not hold out your laughter anymore. Well, good luck trying to make amends in the morning.

Alhaitham
The moment Alhaitham steps into his office and sees a familiar looking cat, he just resigns to his fate.
A wave of deja vu washes over him as he picks you up as gently as a 'feeble scholar' could, "Nod your head if you're (name)."
You nod.
Not again.
And while he knows that the way to dispel it is by giving you (as Cyno has eloquently put it) a true love's kiss, he's going to enjoy having you as a cat for a while.
"In all fairness, you did have my cat form all to yourself for some time," he reasons as your cat self deadpans at him. And oh, is that a barely concealed smirk on his face?
His plan was to have you in all your cat glory to himself. Away from any and every person, especially Kaveh, for the whole day.
But of course, the architect always has the worst (or best?) timing known to man.
"Alhaitham, I need you to sign a couple of─" Kaveh walks in and drops his stack of papers in shock, "Don't tell me that's..."
The scribe only grunts and turns his back against his roommate, shielding you from view.
You yowl for Kaveh to knock some sense into you lover, but he's too busy trying to pet you as Alhaitham holds him back by his collar.
It was almost a shame that no other scholar or matra walked into witness such chaos caused by none other than you.
"Come onnnn, I'm sure (name) wouldn't mind me petting them!"
"Meow!"
"They said no."
"How would you know!?"
Diluc Ragnvindr
If Alhaitham tries to prolong your cat form for as long as he can, Diluc tries to bring you back as fast as possible.
But you want to enjoy your cat form :<
So everytime he tries to kiss you, you have to push his lips away with your little paws.
I know it's torture having to reject his kisses multiple times in a row, but it's for the sake of science! (not really??)
He gives into your whims after a while but not without giving you a petulant frown.
So now he's stuck in his shift at Angel's Share while you:
lazily drape over his shoulders, occasionally swiping at his hair/bangs with your claws retracted,
play with whatever piques your interest ranging from wine corks to wine bottles (be careful not to make them fall over or else you might risk giving your lover a heart attack)
hiss at any drunkard making a mess, and
topple over the drinks of those trying to hit on your man >:(
Diluc would be lying if he said that he didn't find your cat shenanigans adorable, entertaining, and very convenient too with how you drive away troublemakers!
Poor Venti had to find another tavern due to his allergy to cats lmao
It was all fun and games until Kaeya arrives and unintentionally steals your attention away.
You're too preoccupied playing with the captain's fur coat to notice how Diluc immediately leaves his post to Charles so he can steal you back.
And before you know it, the Darknight Hero whisks you away, back to Dawn Winery!
To balance out the fun fics (and I didn't know you did the hidden Royalty one too!) with fluff, may I ask for a small scenario with Kaveh, Alhaitham, Kaeya, and Diluc and a reader who falls asleep on their lap? 🙏

Kaveh's usually the one sleeping on your lap, but he's always be happy to offer you his!
This time, you didn't even mean to fall asleep, you were just resting your head on his lap as he drew his latest design.
He was talking to you the whole time, describing his new project and his vision for the buildings in an excited but soft tone.
Maybe it was the day weighing on you, or maybe it was Kaveh's lovely voice that put you to sleep.
But either way, he won't mind! All that matters is your presence keeping him company as he polishes his work.
He even drapes his cape over your sleeping form and combs your hair away from your face!
It eventually becomes a regular thing where he works and you're just there dozing off. Overall, very soft!
Alhaitham
The work of a scribe isn't really that exciting, so he doesn't mind that you feel sleepy after an hour of visiting him in his office.
To both of your surprise, he's the one that offers his lap as your pillow!
He just nudges you slightly and pats his lap, a very direct man indeed.
So now here you are dozing on your lover with the sound of books, paper, and quills as your white noise + his occasional hums and 'tsk's.
When he's reading and not writing, expect his free hand to gently play with your hair or rest on your arms and gently caress your skin!
It's not even a conscious action, his hand just finds its way to you, seeking for contact even though you're already sprawled all over his lap ˘͈ᵕ˘͈
Kaeya
Poke... poke poke

"Oops"
Man won't let you sleep for a while. He'll poke your cheeks, pinch your nose, and even do that thing where he takes a lock of your hair and uses the end to tickle your ears (did anyone else do that/fall victim to that? bcs same)
But don't worry, he'll give you the privilege of sleeping on his lap sometime soon.
And when you finally succumb to sleep, he has the most whipped, down atrociously bad expression on his face.
He'll gently card through your hair, gently massage your scalp, and caress your cheek with fleeting touches.
Basically, Kaeya uses this opportunity to shower you with love with a certain vulnerability that he doesn't want anyone to see.
Diluc
If you initiate such an act at the start of your relationship, Diluc's going to be a flustered mess.
I'm talking red all over, probably as stiff as a board, with his hands awkwardly hovering over your body because he's unsure of what to do.
Man's flabbergasted 😭
But when you've been together for longer, he'll accept your antics with much more grace (his blush still betrays him though)
Diluc will rest his hands on your head or arms, occasionally patting your head with a soft smile that he reserves for you and only you.
If anyone comes in the room and accidentally wakes you up, he won't even bother masking his annoyance (if it's a friend or acquaintance) and anger (if it's no one important)
Please control your man, he is soft for one person only and it's you.
