Hey, everyone~! Here are two stages in my w.i.p right now. The first is its current state, and the latter was taken about a few days ago. However... regarding expression, I'm torn.

So, I figured I'd come to you guys for help. (˶' ꒳ '˶)

Do you prefer the subtle frown depicted in the second photo, with enlarged, more defined eyebrows, or the protruding grin in the first image?

Also, you may notice that the clothing shading in the second photo is much more visually appealing than its current state; that's just because I haven't gotten around to doing that yet. 😅 So, don't worry about that. :D
