I'm curious before I go to bed if anyone had a set of phases like I did growing up?
At first I was super hyper feminine, when I was like...birth to ten, because I'm a girl, and girls have to be girly, right? Like, up to the age of ten, I always said pink was my favorite color, even though I liked red more. Because I thought there was something wrong with me if I didn't.
Age ten up to like....fifteen, I tried being hyper masculine, cos I have two older brothers, and they're cool, and I wanted to be just like them, so I tried kicking all my 'girly' habits, like liking dolls, and tried picking up more masculine ones like videos games(which, side note, didn't work for a long time, and I still like dolls so that never worked)
I feel like right now in my life, aged almost nineteen, I have a good mix of feminine and masculine. I like dolls, and singing, and sewing and cooking and stuffed toys yeah, but I also like video games and boys clothes, and probably not having to deal with breasts. But I also feel I don't need to justify the girly stuff I like, cos it rocks! I guess what I want to say is I'm almost nineteen and I don't have myself figured out yet, but I know what my phases were. I feel like they weren't unique to me, but at the same time, I feel like they were important for my development or something? Idk, sorry. I got two hours of sleep, I'm going back to bed now. Goodnight.
