“Oh wow…” Astrid said, leaning in to get a better look at the creations the Viking was showing her. “Those are really cool.” A smile spread across her face as she examined the details more closely.

“Your little Hiccup’s hair is perfect,” she added, pointing at the tiny figure’s hair with one hand—then, without missing a beat, reaching up with the other to ruffle Hiccup’s hair affectionately.

Hiccup’s face was closer than needed as he closely examined the beautiful art. His eyebrows furrowed as a smile spread across his face. “These are amazing.”

“Hey!” he squealed as he jumped back, pulling away from Astrid’s playful hand. Reaching up, he brushed his unruly hair back down with a chuckle.

“Did you call them squishes? They are really good! Where did you learn to draw like this?”
