امام علی علیه السلام
إنَّ للّه ِِ تَعالى شَرابا لِأَولِيائِهِ ، إذا شَرِبوا سَكِروا ، وإذا سَكِروا طَرِبوا ، وإذا طَرِبوا طابوا ، وإذا طابوا ذابوا ، وإذا ذابوا خَلَصوا ، وإذا خَلَصوا طَلَبوا ، وإذا طَلَبوا وَجَدوا ، وإذا وَجَدوا وَصَلوا ، وإذا وَصَلُوا اتَّصَلوا ، وإذَا اتَّصَلوا لا فَرقَ بَينَهُم وبَينَ حَبيبِهِم
Allah, the Most High,
has a drink for His friends (awliyā),
that whenever they drink,
they become drunk,
and when they become drunk,
they become joyful, and when they become joyful,
they become sweet,
and when they become sweet, they dissolve,
and when they dissolve,
they become pure,
and when they become pure,
they search and when they search,
they find,
and when they find,
they arrive,
and when they arrive,
they join,
and when they join,
there is no difference between them and their beloved.
