Honestly, the best part was chatting with all the other pen nerds. Including DAVID FREAKING OSCARSON. I did get a trifle fan-girly. But he is a genius, and also smoking hot!

i’ve been inside the house so long now that i decided i was bored of my current office/studio set up so i changed things up a bit. i put my drawing table underneath my window, which faces west and gets bright sun for the majority of the day - why has this not been my set up all along?! i always love drawing in natural light and i realized that i really didn’t have that much of it before yesterday!
so, i’m very happy that my cabin fever has made me do something productive and way more practical. i even prefer where my office desk and computer are now.
here is a watercolour piece i finished last night after the revamp ;) i’ve been feeling a bit anxious lately with all that’s going on, and how long it’s been going on, so i wanted to paint with watercolour and go with an abstract subject, so i chose waves. i had a lot of fun painting this and it was the first time i really built up many different layers of watercolour. definitely want to paint more like this :)
