I've just got back from #yarndale and the throbbing in my feet is starting to subside π I did go over the budget I'd set myself, but not by much! First purchase was some self-striping sock yarn by @trulyhooked Then I headed over to @martinslab to pick up a copy of #stillnesscollection - I don't usually go for pattern books, but I like every pattern in this book so 11 patterns for Β£15 was a real bargain π Then I stopped to worship at the altar of @theknittinggoddess - the variegated brown/orange skein was calling to me, and the dark grey is for heels and toes with something else, but as I was paying, Joy said, "Please tell me you're going to use those together." Now I'm looking at them with new eyes π and I see what she means... plus the colour names are 'Embers' and 'Coal'. It's like a sign! The Goddess has spoken, who am I to argue? π @ancaitinbeag sold me some beautiful ceramic buttons. I have plans for 2 cardis this autumn; an old rose pink one for Jamie, which will have the dark purple buttons, and an orange one for me, which will have turquoise buttons π Last purchase of the day was a monster skein of DK yarn from @crafternoontreats This is 500g of woolly gorgeousness π I want to make another #mossontheoldoak shawl, but I want to play around with the shaping.
