Branching out from my comfort zone a bit! I love me an Evil Companion, so I've started a new introspective Martha Jones/Clone!Martha POV fic, written in the 2nd person, which takes place during S4's The Sontaran Stratagem/The Poison Sky.
It was quite a challenge writing this while still trying to stay faithful to Martha's voice, but I've had lots of fun doing it! Chapter 1 is "Mayday", and will be followed by 5 other single-word military-sounding terms - so the initials will spell out M. A. R. T. H. A. (Cos A. T. M. O. S. was taken π)
Once again, big thanks again to @ominouscuriosityheart, @rtxco and @martha-jones-is-keeping-u-alive for the inspiration.

About that Doctor who ficβ¦ is any of it posted anywhere yet?? Sorry if thatβs been answered before. And can I request a snippet of chapter 30? I love that concept for a fic and canβt wait to read it!!

I've only posted the two snippets I've put out on here. Well, three snippets counting this one. I'm still in the process of editing the 89 chapters I do have done but I'm almost done with that so I'll be starting season 4 soon. I won't be posting entire chapters until I finish it completely though so I don't leave it discontinued if I lose interest for whatever reason or get too busy and forget about it. When I do start posting it though, it will be on my Ao3 account that goes by the same name OddKingOfKings.
Anyway, here's the snippet. I appreciate the ask and interest! π

An unconscious Martha was being dragged away by a man as Rose was kept in place by a woman pointing a gun at her.
"I'm sorry. I'm really, really sorry. We just need three, that's all," the man said as if it was going to explain everything.
"I don't give a rat's arse! Let her go," Rose shouted, furious.
Martha, the woman under Rose's care, is in trouble, now wasn't exactly the time to be pacifistic even as a gun was being pointed at her.
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Sorry," the woman said as she backed up towards the man.
They disappeared through a door, the lock initiating behind them but that wasn't going to stop Rose. She quickly pulled the sonic from her pocket and used it to bust through the door. Unfortunately, not in time to save Martha, the car was already pulling away.
"Martha!"
You know how doctor always jumps around human scientists saying oh you are so dmart? Well, what else he is supposed to think, he usually hungs up with people who only finished high school and now worked at a shop or smth.
