My work is a dialogue. About people, about the connections between them, about the moments that unexpectedly intertwine lives.

Each encounter feels like a small fairytale to me.

I often associate people with plants and “give” them their own symbol. Even the patterns on my characters’ clothing are intentional — they reflect personality, mood, or hidden meanings.

This is one of a series of 6/9 works titled “Orange”.

Year: 2022

Galápagos iguanas are relict reptiles that evolved in conditions of prolonged geographic isolation and have retained morphological features closely resembling ancient Mesozoic forms. Their existence is strictly dependent on the ecosystems of the Galápagos Archipelago, making them highly vulnerable to environmental change. Their populations are currently in steady decline due to anthropogenic pressure, invasive species, and climate change. The destruction of their natural habitat results in the irreversible loss of these unique organisms and the disappearance of an ancient evolutionary lineage.
