This isn't a fic or anything, but I need to just vent because this is really getting on my nerves, and I'm sure it's affecting others aswell.

Over the past month, I've had this app called Yubo downloaded on my phone because I was always so bored outside of my normal life. I wanted to meet new people. And I have.

Everything had been pretty great up until today, where these 2 guys started messaging me, accusing me of not being a girl, not believing I was a girl because I have short hair. They even asked me for pictures to PROVE that I was a girl. I told them both that I knew what gender I was, and to shove whatever their stupid beliefs they had up where the sun don't shine. All was fine for a few hours.

Then, after coming out of the cinema from watching Aquaman (yes it was amazing!), one of the guys messages me again. This time he calls me "hoe" and "cunt". Again, I tell him to shove it, and leave me alone but he doesn't. He even said that, and I quote, "we both know you go around sucking dick on the daily".

I know it shouldn't make me mad and upset, but if this is what society has become, what society is accusing us girls of, then I want no part in it. It's wrong. Completely wrong. You cannot call all girls "hoe's". You cannot call all girls "cunts". And you cannot group all girls in a singular group and accuse us of being something we are not. It is wrong. Utterly disgusting.

If you think I will sit by and watch as you attempt to degrade us women, us girls, then you have another thing coming. Don't you dare. It's hideous. And if you are teaching your children to think this way, to act this way, then you are not a true parent. You don't deserve to be parents.

Now that I have raised this issue, it is our turn to put an end to it. It is our job as parents, sisters, brothers, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great grandparents, friends, significant others' to stop it once and for all.
