Is it just me or does Meegan’s ex-husband and his wife, Samantha, gives me the ick?
When Lucy died, Scarlet made a comment on her tribute calling out her parents for how they addressed Lucy’s death. Even though Scarlet didn’t say anything about Samantha (as it was clear she was only talking about her mom and dad), Samantha shut her down and dismissed her feelings despite Scarlet not even talking about her. I can’t share it because I’m anonymous sadly but I have a screenshot of it.
And her father made a post (which inspired me to send this ask to you because I needed someone to talk about this with), that seemingly shamed Scarlet for not telling Samantha happy Mother’s Day, at least publicly. Kinda rubbed me the wrong way and made me feel bad for Scarlet. If there truly was drama going on between Samantha and Scarlet, him addressing it publicly like this is not the way to go about it.

I was hesitant to even answer this question because I didn't think I could keep my cool. I hope that no one involved gets upset with me for answering this question. I'll try to be as respectful as I possibly can, despite this being a subject that fills me with rage.
Many people have asked why I have such an issue with Meegan. The above picture is the reason why. What many people don't know, what I'm hoping I'll be forgiven for saying, is that Lucy lived with and was taken care of by her Father and Step Mother for the last year of her life.
Meegan out right refused to come off the road to either take care of her or even give Samantha (the main care giver) any help.
Meegan was fully aware of Lucy's mental state (which was far worse than most people knew then) and she didn't give a damn. Yet, now she posts story after story about how much she misses the girl she left to parish.
Do I think Meegan knew Lucy was going to take her own life? No. Did Meegan know that Lucy was in serious peril? Yes.
Mark posted this because Samantha was the main caregiver of Lucy for a full year. She quit her job to focus on Lucy's well being. Now, Meegan is playing the mournful Mother when she couldn't bother being there for Lucy when she needed her birth Mother.
I hate Meegan. Truly. Deeply. Hate.
This is why I laugh at people who think my issue with her is that I want to sleep with Slash. Nothing could be further form the truth.
In short, no. I don't get the ick. Samantha and Mark are the reason Lucy didn't leave this world even sooner.
All of this is just what she did in the last year of Lucy's life. This doesn't include everything she's done over the past 15 years for those girls.
Samantha deserves a "Happy Mother's Day."
