I had a vision that's probably unoriginal but I love it Mark Chasity and Boy Jerry that were in love with each other when they were teenagers but they never got together because of their religion but they did share a kiss at church camp and they both became obsessed with their chastity after that and both tried to pray and beg for their forgiveness for their "sin". Mark was able to eventually convince himself that he was forgiven and move on but Boy Jerry never managed to do that and fell into insanity.

ok holybastard time.
so as I described in an old ted post, in his youth he was was like Pete but much more of a doormat and kind of just shy and pathetic. But he’s Ted so. He’s still a perv. That’s why he was sent to Abstinence Camp by his parents.
anyway so at camp idontwannabang he meets Mark. Idk how old they are, probably 18 like in og abstinence camp.
Ted kinda doesn’t know much about himself (I HC him as bisexual but he prefers women obviously, however at his time in camp he decides, out of spite, to think about guys more).
Ted starts following Mark around and teasing him and kinda becoming his friend. Even though at this point Ted is still ‘Teddy’ and not a pushy bastard, he’s still kind of annoying but certainly more charming than future Ted is. Mark enjoys Ted’s company to an extent but can vaguely tell that there are ulterior motives.
Also Ted likes Mark WAYYYY more than Mark likes Ted. Even during their summer situationship Mark mostly does it because he enjoys the thrill and the absolute horror it makes him feel at the blasphemy and sin he’s committing while Ted is half doing it to feel appreciated by someone (he is delusional, Mark isn’t very appreciate of Ted individually) and because Gay Sex.
It really is solely just a summer thing because by the end of the summer Ted grows a little too clingy and Mark gets uncomfortable. They don’t speak again and then they leave the camp and don’t see each other much in town anymore. Very sad.
Ted can tell that Mark’s marriage is having its issues though. Ted’s very good at seeing failing marriages.
So that’s my take on camp holybastard, I will talk about my view of them as adults later.
holybastard is growing on me. i like the modern one of them in their 30s (haha Ted helping people with their affairs again but this time it’s blasphemous) but I haven’t seen any art of them at camp idontwannabang. & since I’m such a big fan of that psycho camp I will be making it. and yapping about them too I guess.
holy dads fic where bill and mark were friends when they were younger. they sit next to each other during lunch and hang out after school to study and do homework. its 1 of those things where the window for this to happen passed by ages ago and they both wonder what could have happened (mark with a lot more guilt abt it) them catching up in modern day and bill would Never want mark to cheat.especially not after what happened between him and his ex. but again the entire time theyre having coffee he can feel that bubbly excitement again from when he was a kid and now he knows what that feeling is. mark notices it too but he pushes it deep deep down frantically and desperately ignores it. they spend the entire time talking abt their daughters rather than much else. bill loves grace but honestly I doubt mark would like alice all that much but he doesnt say as such cause hes enjoying the moment too much. when they leave mark brushes his hand on bill's and its a struggle to stop himself from blushing
