1985's Transformers Vol.1 #5 cover by artist Mark Bright (R.I.P.).
I just read Spider-Man vs Wolverine for the first time, goddamn that's a good comic.
Priest is so friggin good. He manages to give both Peter Parker and Logan dueling hard-boiled first person narration, perfectly in character.
Poor Spidey, poor Charlie, poor Ned.
We didn't know how good we had it in the 1980s; if this comic came out today it would be a six issue miniseries with tie-in issues of Amazing and X-Men, drawn by Ed Mcguinnes or somebody.
Tony Stark
Iron Man & the Armor Wars (2009) #1
