It's crazy that I have somebody who I can call sibling, sometimes family doesn't need to be blood related and I'm very grateful for that.
Sometimes
I'm always afraid that breaking my old habits, such as clamming up socially and never chatting with the people I care about as a result, would end up backfiring on me and coming across as annoying.
I push the intrusive thoughts away and hope for the best!

Trying to learn about DnD stuff has been quite the overwhelming experience
Random thoughts #1: My experience with vinyl records
A few months ago a bunch of merchandise was announced for my favorite game experience of all time and I bought everything! However one of those things is the ost of that game on two vinyl records.
One thing lead to another; it would be silly to have a vinyl record but nothing to play it, so I bought my own turn table. Would be silly to only have that turn table just for this one ost so I looked into getting more.
Through a mix of buying them online and a local shop (the owners were super surprised to see a younger person into vinyls and they were happy about it that they gave me a discount even!) I got...uh oh 20 albums. A lot now.
There's this weird thing that yes, vinyl is incredibly outdated. But every downside is kinda the novelty of it now? I dunno if that make sense but there is turntables that are almost automatic: they move the arm and needle back to the starting point automatically ect. but you will see new hobbyist like me just prefer a 100% manual set up because if everything was automatic...I'd use my phone and speakers? It's weird right?
I enjoy that you kinda have to treat a record as a whole since you can't really easily skip songs. You listen to one side and then the other fully and that's your experience. if a song is bad then it sours the record a bit.
Another thing I enjoy like I said earlier is that it's very manual and physical. Seeing the record spin is cute and having to move the arm and flip/change the record is a nice pause to have.
Now would I recommend vinyls? No. it's an expensive hobby, for very little advantages over more modern tech. Even cd's are miles better and they aren't new at all anymore. And way less maintenance too.
