Percy Weasley thought he new his twin sister.

Until it seemed as if he didn't anymore.

He thought he had her figured out- since they'd spend the most time together. But then again he thought about the conversation he had with Bill years ago and started to doubt himself again.

"Percy listen. If I learned one thing in hogwarts it's the following- in regard of girls obviously. Puberty is horrible for them- like it's actual hell. They get their period, mood swings, they get insecure idk- I mean I only witnessed everything through the eyes of a prefect and a boyfriend but still. It could happen that at some point during your school career Madison is going to act different, avoid you maybe- or start arguments. She might change her style or hair. But I need you to be there for her no matter what, okay?"

They had the conversation a night before they went to Hogwarts.

It frightened Percy at first, but Bill and Charlie where there whenever something happend; was it Oliver laughing at her, or when she was called up in class when she didn't knew the answer and started crying out of embarrassment.

All three of them were there.

But now the two older ones had graduated and Percy had no idea how to handle Madison anymore.

He had always thought she knew better than to waste her time in the room of requirements watching duelling battles among students and rooting for her favorite- well at least she didn't bet on anyone.

Was nicer than to start arguing back with teachers about the amount of assignments, or with him when it came to "stupid" rules.

But what had shocked him the most, was that he had always thought that she was more modest than to climb into the Slytherin Captains lap and make out with him outside of the Quidditch castle.

But apparently she was not.

The Quidditchgame was two months ago and Percy knew for a fact that those two were serious.

Because Marcus Flint was beginning to change his behavior in a way that would serve noone but himself and Madison.

For instance; in ghoul studies- an extra-Curricular subject that Percy and Marcus have but Madison doesn't- Marcus actually asked him if they wanted to pair up for the lesson. And he was respectful the whole time, actually listened to what Percy had said.

He was kinder to younger students in general; as a prefect Percy Weasley had access to all detention lists of every single student- so that noone had to go to detention twice for the same thing- and ever since they started dating Marcus had not broken one single school rule. That's a new personal record for him.

But Marcus wasn't the only one changing, because ever since they got together Madison started to change aswell. Not only in her appearance- where she straightened her hair sometimes or woke up earlier to put some light Make-up on, no- she also started to spend less time in the Hospital Wing or on homework.

But he had ignored it.

Because he wanted to know how long it would take to Madison to tell him by herself.

Untill he couldn't keep quiet anymore.

It was a regular Friday and he was on his daily prefect patrol when he caught them in an empty classroom together.

Doing something absolutely horrific and borderline scandalous.

There were three people in the classroom.

His Sister, Marcus Flint and his best friend Adrian Pucey.

Marcus was sitting on the window sill howling at the scene in front of him; Madison, who had significantly shorter hair, was beating up Adrian with a schoolbook.

"Stupid, stupid, stupid. How often do I have to tell you that-"

Marcus was the first one to notice the prefect in the doorway and he immediately grew silent.

The lack of laughter led to Madison looking up from Pucey to her boyfriend who just nodded towards Percy.

"I- uh. Hi?"

There wasn't even time for her to explain herself and as she grew red out of embarrassment- her twin turned into the same color out of pure rage.

"Madison Dorothea Weasley. I'm SO telling mother about this. ABOUT EVERYTHING." He crossed the room in quick steps, before he grabbed her by the arm and dragged her away from Pucey and out of the classroom.

"You know I don't care if you're grades are dropping because that's YOUR DECISION. IT'S YOUR LIFE YOUR RUINING. But I'm not going to watch how you corrupt your beautiful self for the liking of others. What's next? Tattoos, Piercings? DYED HAIR?"

Even after being dragged out of the classroom, the two other fifth years could hear Percys' scolding for another ten minutes.

"You can date EVERY boy in Hogwarts, and you choose the One with the WORST behavior, the WORST handwriting and the LEAST respect. You know after watching you two make out after the Quidditchgame I blamed the adrenaline- but turns out you two are serious."

His pace didn't slow down, if everything he only started walking faster towards the Gryffindor common room.

All yelps or "Percy stop." from Madison were left unheard or simply ignored.

"You even snuck out after New Year's Eve to snog with him instead of spending the day with your family. Don't even try to deny it Dorothea- Oliver saw you two. I can't believe I just watched and let it happen. Watched as he lured you deeper into the troublemaker mindset. And know you cut your hair off- mother's going to freak out."

"Why is Mum going to freak out?"

As the twins reached the staircase in front of the Common room, they've met the other set of Weasley twins sitting outside and playing cards.

The short moment of surprise left enough time for Madison to yank her arm out of her Brother's hand, mindlessly rubbing the nail-marks that began to form.

"Because I cut my hair. Also for your information Percival, she's not going to freak out because I owled her asking for permission."

"I think it suits you."

It was Fred, the older one of the twins, who spoke up. "Especially because you've wanted to cut it for a while. How come you got the confidence?"

It was rare to see Madison blushing and giddy: "Well you seee; new year new me or something-"

"Marcus Flint cut if off. Her Boyfriend. Caput Draconis"

After having 'explained' the situation Percy entered the Common room and disappeared into his dormitory.

"Sooooooooo Maddyyyy since our conversation yesterday didn't end well- I want to know EVERYTHING. Why him? How'd you get together? HOW LONG?? What did he get you for Christmas? Is that why you disappeared on New Year's Eve? Does that mean me and Marcus are friends now? Am I still allowed to throw bludgers at him?"

Snow crushed beneath their feet as Fred and Madison walked through the streets of Hogsmeade.

"I- I know it might not seem like that, but he's incredibly sweet. And funny. And handsome.

We got together after the Quidditchgame- the one where I played as a Keeper. That game on November 9th, we have the 11th of January- I'll let you do the math.

He got me earrings with a matching ring for him, and a handmade card, and a weighted blanket with a heating charm.

What are you talking about I literally spend the whole night with you. I only met him the day after.

I.... guess so? For both things. I mean he's still going to score goals for Slytherin."

While she spoke, she made gestured with her hands- a quirk that showed up whenever she truly was exited about something.

"I think you guys really fit together. Also- can we stop at Zonkos please?"

Her younger brother knew that Madison didn't think highly of the joke shop- especially because of the partly dangerous items in there, but he ran out of prank supplies.

"If you have the money for Zonkos there's no reason not to stop there. I didn't take anything with me so don't expect me to pay."

Soon after, they were walking through the crowded streets of the village, not paying much attention to their surroundings but rather watching the icy steps in front of them- careful not to slip.

When suddenly; "Hey sweetpotato!!"

Blonde, broad shouldered and an incredibly sweet loop sided smile.

Before Madison could even comprehend what exactly happened he had already pulled her into a tight hug.
