The elevator gave a sudden lurch and Marc reached over, touching the railing as it shuddered to a stop between two floor. With coffee in hand, he glanced over at the other in the elevator and sighed. “Looks like we will be here for a while,” he spoke to them and walked over to the buttons, pulling out the emergency phone and checking for a dial tone. When he found none, it was painfully obvious that they were going to be stuck for a while.
